Candace Williams

Candace Williams is the executive director of the Rural Community Alliance. Williams holds a degree in Family and Consumer Science from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Public Administration.
Candace hails from the small Delta town of Elaine, Arkansas, where she began her work with the Alliance as a high school-student board member in 2007. She remained in her board member capacity until she joined the RCA staff. Williams maintains the member database, organizes conferences, attends legislativer meetings, directs special projects and manages the central Arkansas office of the organization.
Williams recently worked with partners in Little Rock to establish a new Rural Community Alliance office in that city, which will open later this summer.
Candace also serves as the Arkansas Hub Coordinator for Rural Schools Collaborative.
