Junction City School received a Rural Schools Collaborative Grants in Place award in 2018 to revive a school and community garden. Using the grant to repair the irrigation system, clean and prep the garden beds, and take inventory of tools and supplies, they plan to use the harvest to supplement school lunches and share surplus with the families of students and staff. This project is a great example of using sustainably grown food to create community.

Thanks to our Northern California Hub partners, California State University, Chico and North State Together for their support of our work!
