Liliana Coelho has been named Assistant Director for the Rural Schools Collaborative. Liliana has served as RSC’s Community Development Coordinator since joining the organization in the fall of 2019.
During her time with RSC Liliana’s responsibilities have grown to include program coordination, development work, and a variety of administrative responsibilities. In her new role as Assistant Director, Liliana will work closely with RSC’s Co-Directors, Taylor McCabe-Junke and Gary Funk. She will also provide leadership in maintaining and strengthening relationships with RSC’s Regional Hub contacts and other strategic partners.
“Liliana has simply been an outstanding addition to our organization,” said Gary Funk. “We have had a very successful year during a challenging time. This simply would not have been possible without her enthusiastic approach to work, excellent organizational skills, and caring attitude.”
RSC board member, Julie Leeth from Springfield, Missouri, added, “Well, Liliana is just a gem! We are lucky to have her!"
Liliana hails from Iowa City, Iowa, and she is a graduate of Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. She currently resides in Blue Mound, Wisconsin.
