The 2020 national Rural College Access and Success Summit, co-hosted by College Success Arizona and Partners for Education at Berea College (KY), is scheduled for April 26-28, 2020 at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Nationally, rural youth are least likely to enroll in postsecondary education and the most unlikely to earn a college degree. The #RuralSummit20 brings together teachers, principals, superintendents, higher education leaders, legislators, and non-profit leaders to share ideas and strategies for ensuring more rural youth successfully transition from high school to college and career.
The 2019 Rural Summit was attended by 500 people from 35 states focused on developing the talents of rural youth to sustain and revitalize rural communities. The 2020 Summit also will include a college fair for K-12 educators and college advisors.
