Students enrolled in the greenhouse class at Chester County High School are learning the ins and outs about growing sustainable, healthy food. The students take part in hands-on learning of various growing methods including aquaponics and have created their own worm boxes for composting using food waste from the cafeteria and the school’s classrooms. The greenhouse class will also team up with the culinary class to cook and prepare the produce they grow.
