Carey Dahncke serves as the fourth Executive Director for the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning (CELL) at the University of Indianapolis. He is a vocal advocate for educational reforms, working to keep CELL at the forefront of innovation as the leader of opportunity and quality for Hoosier educators and students.
Carey brings many years of leadership to CELL with diverse experiences across elementary and secondary teaching, international education through the Fulbright program, and traditional public school and charter school leadership.
A graduate of the American College in London (Regent's University London) with a bachelor of business administration cum laude, Carey completed his teacher preparation at Eastern Illinois University (EIU), later earning a master of science in educational administration from EIU. He holds an education specialist degree from Arkansas State University and completed his doctoral research in education at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Outside of the university, you can find Carey traveling and spending time with his family on a lake somewhere.
