Emma Keese is a Communications and Development Specialist at the Wisconsin Green Schools Network, which connects with educators to foster inquiry and engage learners through discovery. She believes supporting educators leads to healthy, happy and successful students and communities. Emma is excited to join forces with the Rural Schools Collaborative to lift up rural educators and share stories of visionary Wisconsin leaders. Emma has been with the Wisconsin Green Schools Network since 2017, where she connects educators to mentors, professional development opportunities, and environmental education resources such as Project WET, Project WILD, EEK! and EE in Wisconsin. Emma also has experience in creating sustainable behavior change, GIS, nature centers, youth leadership programs, social media management, and policy development. A Seattle native, Emma first moved to Wisconsin to attend Beloit College, where she received her BA in Environmental Studies and Biology. She enjoys spending time outdoors whether she is biking, hiking or swimming and currently resides in Middleton, Wisconsin.
