The Monmouth College Educational Studies department sponsors the TARTANS rural teacher corps, hosts a place-based learning center in partnership with Teton Science Schools, and stewards the local Place Network school, Central Intermediate. Monmouth College and the Galesburg Community Foundation partner to provide a national office for the Rural Schools Collaborative.
