Teacher travels to access wifi during digital learning transition
Jen gives her heart and soul to everything she does, but especially to her students at Clark Wood Elementary School.
Jen has been an ELA teacher for the past nine years. Before that, she served as a life skills teacher.
During the remote learning season of the past year, Jen played a significant role in bringing together the ELA team - supporting and problem solving in order to best meet the needs of our diverse learners.
She does not have internet access at her house, so supporting her community often meant driving to a place where she could access technology from the back of her truck. She did this tirelessly for weeks in cold and inclement weather.
Clark Wood Elementary School is a better place because of the work Jen does and the support she gives.
