Dr. Robert Fulton serves as Director for the Colorado Center for Rural Education at the University of Northern Colorado and as co-chair for the Colorado Rural Public Health, Education, and Healthcare Initiative through the Colorado School of Public Health. In these roles, he develops partnerships with institutions of higher education, alternative educator licensure providers, state departments of education, and rural school districts throughout Colorado with the aim of increasing recruitment and retention of effective educators in rural schools. He has expertise as a rural public school superintendent and as a higher education administrator for public, nonprofit, and private colleges and universities. Dr. Fulton has a broad frame of reference regarding quality, the challenges that face organizations, and potential solutions for addressing those challenges.
