Ty White joined Rural Schools Collaborative GRAD Partnership team as the Arizona Rural Schools' Hub Coordinator for the GRAD Project in July of 2024. As a proud product of Arizona's public schools, he is excited to share and improve opportunities for rural students.
Ty earned his Bachelor's at Arizona State University, his Masters at the University of Arizona, and received an honorary doctorate from Northern Arizona University in 2023.
Ty participated in the Borderlands Rural Teacher Caucus, a part of RSC’s Policy Playbook Project. He is working with a colleague to organize efforts to continue the program next year.
Ty believes that Arizona teachers regularly do more with less, and that public schools are a cornerstone of our society, and our local communities. He is a Noyce Master Teacher fellow, and has launched a non-profit that organizes "Space Settlement Design Competitions" across the United States.
