Rural Community Alliance (RCA) works with rural communities across Arkansas to create opportunities for young people, families, and community leaders. Their work focuses on education, youth development, health, leadership, and civic engagement.

Through RCA's Youth Community Health Workers program, young people learn about important health topics and share that information through community events. Their Rural Media Influencers use storytelling, interviews, and social media to highlight rural issues and share what is happening in their communities. The Rural Leaders Network helps adults strengthen their leadership skills and take action on issues affecting their communities.

Civic engagement is also a major part of RCA’s work. They provide nonpartisan voter education, support voter registration and outreach activities, and help residents better understand elections, public policy, and how local government works.

What connects all of RCA's programs is the goal of helping rural residents, especially young people, develop leadership skills, and become more involved in improving their communities.
