Rural Schools Collaboration and the NREA are excited to unveil a new, free Teach Rural Job Board!

This joint job board, hosted on the I Am A Rural Teacher website, highlights available rural teacher jobs across the country alongside relevant, regional teacher stories about why they love their place and their jobs:

Example of regional rural teacher spotlights, featured throughout the job board.

Through the job board, newsletters, and social media platforms, RSC & NREA will help market positions to a wider audience of current or future teachers in order to help rural schools get more visibility on open roles. We hope this is one more piece of the puzzle to help address the rural teacher shortage.

Our long term goal, with your help, is to grow this platform to create a one-stop-shop for current or future teachers to search for open rural positions across the nation, and for rural schools to highlight their positions.

The Teach Rural Job Board just launched in November, and we would love your help in two ways:

  1. Please share with your networks! Do you have any K-12 schools or administrators in your network? Know a local school that is hiring? Know a teacher who is job-hunting? Send the job board their way.
  2. If you have feedback on the functionality of the job board, let us know - you can reach us via email at jobs [at] ruralschoolscollaborative.org. This is a new tool, and we want to keep improving to better serve rural districts.

Thanks to the The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, for their support of this joint-project, and the I Am A Rural Teacher platform.
