Brittany Williams is an elementary school teacher at the University Charter School in Livingston, Alabama. She comes from Tuscaloosa, a semi-large town that is home to the University of Alabama’s Crimson Tide football team. She graduated from University of West Alabama magna cum laude and also is a Black Belt Teacher Corps Scholar, a program to address teacher shortages in the Black Belt region through teacher preparation, leadership training, and service projects. She has lived in Livingston, Alabama for 5 years and has enjoyed teaching kids about this special community they live in.
