Kristen Cuthrell is the Director of the East Carolina University Rural Education Institute and professor in the Department of Elementary Education and Middle Grades Education. She has over 18 years of experience working in the areas of program improvement and educator development. She has over $20 million in external funding within the past 12 years and works tirelessly to support research-practice partnerships with rural schools and communities.
