Dr. Jan Miller

Dr. Jan G. Miller currently serves as the Director of Competency-Based Education and Registered Teacher Apprenticeship Program at the University of West Alabama. Prior to serving in her current role, she served as the Dean for the College of Education, and previously the Dean for the Division of Online Programs at the University of West Alabama. Jan has also served as a professor, department chair, and as Faculty Senate president at the University. Prior to UWA, Dr. Miller was an elementary school teacher and principal. She served as an administrator for fifteen years in the state of Mississippi. She has approximately thirty years of educational experience. Her passion includes working with schools, students, and grant writing.
Jan also serves as the lead for RSC's Alabama Hub and on RSC's board.
