The students of Kahuku High & Intermediate School are participating in numerous sustainability initiatives under the leadership of their school’s Green Team. The students of Kahuku feed in from a district that includes various rural communities and spans 26 miles along the island of Oahu’s North Shore. The students are committed to studying sustainable technologies to improve life in their rural area and have come up with 30 different RE projects and solutions to address environmental challenges in their community.
